A few weeks ago

I was in VA again.

Didn't feel too well, so I didn't get much done.

But I met this doggy and his owner.

Loyalty to infinity.

He is super proud to show off his fetching abilities.

I took a walk in the woods.

Then met this owl.

Took this picture.

And watched him fly away 45 seconds after.

The woman rehabbing him had no idea he could fly.

And he was all:

"Underestimate me?

Pfffffft.

I'll show you, lady."

I. was. SHOCKED.

Beyond shocked.

Flabbergasted.

So I had this idea, seeeeee?

Actually, that's a lie. I have had no ideas.

None.

So I went straight to balloons because they're a wonderfully pretty copout.

"Hey I suck at this lately, but let me distract you from this fact with some magical, colorful, floating, latex orbs! OooOOoooh"

I did not take into account the fact that it was the windiest day in the history of air.

Of blogging.

I haven't updated this badboy in forever because, well...um

I really haven't been shooting as much.

This winter was kinda hideous.

Oddly enough spring wasn't too pretty either.

But for my Birthday I got a Nikon D90

and things are looking up.

I'm trying to get into more portrait work, get my website up and running and be more social. (and by "more social" i mean: less anti-social)

It's the small victories in life isn't it?
